Visiting Writer at Whitworth MFA in January!

Thrilled to announce that in January I will be one of the visiting writers at residency for the low-residency MFA creative writing program at Whitworth University.

This is a new MFA program with roots in Seattle Pacific University’s MFA program, where I had attended and includes two 10-day residencies per year (January and July), five in all, and then four full correspondence semesters in which students will send work periodically to the mentors for feedback and direction. This MFA program has an uncommon openness to writers engaging with or grappling with religious or spiritual traditions, though that is by no means the only focus.
